	Car suffered a coolant leak (from failed heater pipework) whilst we were on holiday and 24 hrs before we were to return home. Yewbarrow Garage diagnosed problem, ordered repair kit and fitted it within a day to enable us to return home the next day. Proprietor Andrew slotted us in to his busy schedule and carried out a difficult repair. A bonus was that our car was cleaned inside and out, and the tyres blackened before we picked it up. All in all, excellent service from a garage that we did not know and that sorted out our car problem at very short notice. Many, many thanks to Andrew and team for your most helpful and extremely good service.	July 18, 2022

	I HAD SOME HELP TODAY 13TH SEPTEMBER MY FRONT WHEEL WAS FLAT THEY CHECKED IT OVER AND FOUND THAT THE VALVE WAS THE PROBLEM . THE COST OF THE WORK WAS FREE . I WILL BE GOING BACK WHEN I NEED MORE HELP. YOUR P.DOUGLAS.	September 13, 2021

	Getting your MOT shouldn’t be urgent but this was; nearest slot was Blackpool until Andrew kindly offered me an appointment that day; the process was slick and included impartial advice about the car’s health; I learnt that Yewbarrow Garage offers car servicing as well as free courtesy cars; the railway station is next door and there are local shops and cafes close by; it was a great experience and I’ll definitely go back next time (before the MOT expires); maybe catch the train to Blackpool as well; thanks Andrew for a great job! 	Being newly resident in the area, finding a garage that would be comparable to the garage in the area we used live was imperative. We had become accustomed to a highly commendable and quite exceptional vehicle service at our, former, local garage. Consequently, we had extremely high standards and expectations, concerning the maintenance of our, two, vehicles. It is with full justification that we can stress that we consider ourselves most fortunate to have found a comparable service in Andrew Baddiley and his team of competent, capable, consummate and professional mechanics, more than efficiently and ably supported by the administrative staff who are, always ready to take calls, answer questions or to call back. In our experience, nothing has been too much trouble and work has been completed to an exacting standard, in a timely manner, with pricing and the obtaining of any vehicle parts required, mutually and amicably agreed. Overall, there is absolutely no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending Yewbarrow Garage, if a resident in the town, or if you should be in need of assistance, if only visiting the area and have any mechanical issues with your vehicle, at the time. 	We broke down on a Saturday morning in August - a very hot day - on the Lindale bypass; no garages in Kendal would take our rescued car and finally we found Yewbarrow in Grange who could take the car in - even though they were closed AND provide us with a hire car (no charge) whilst was being repaired. This allowed us to enjoy the rest of our holiday. Communication was good, including photos of damaged areas. Repair took a bit longer than expected/anticipated, but allowed us to extend our stay in the Lake District! I would not hesitate to recommend Yewbarrow to anyone in the area as they operate to a high standard with excellent integrity. Thank you Andrew and the team at Yewbarrow garage!	August 26, 2020

	Our car required new brake pads unexpectedly while we were in the area on holiday so we stopped by and they were professional and friendly from start to finish, quoted me a more than fair price and completed the work in record time. 	At the beginning of our holiday, we'd a problem with the rear-brakes.Called German car club. They placed me with The AA. Already next morning a technician showed up.Estimated problem. Suggested YEWBARROW GARAGE, Grange-over-Sands, took me there. Immediatly Andrew, proprietor, took care of me, told me, he´ll check the problem and, before any action, will inform me about - he also gave me a car of his, so our holidays won´t get spoiled! 3 days later, my car was back, for the price I talked to a friend who owns a garage in Cologne, and he was surprised of the "..more than reasonable price .." !!! 	We called on Yewbarrow after we had unexpected issues with our car whilst visiting the Lakes. They could not have been more helpful. Squeezed us in at very short notice and did not give up until it was sorted, so we were able to continue our little holiday without stress or worry. 	One very happy customer!!! After just having an accident in my car not too far from the garage. I was in a state of shock and didnt know what to do. I called my husband, and he got in touch with Andrew who came to my rescue straight away. Andrew and one of his employees checked the car over and managed to get the car and me back to the garage, Upon our return it went straight on to the ramps and was given a further inspection, where they found it had quite a lot of damage. My husband arrived and Andrew advised us, what obvious damage they had found and what work would need to be done. I got straight in touch with my insurance company and advised them that i wanted to use Yewbarrow garage for the repairs. I was given a courtesy car from the garage to use while mine was off the road. After getting the go ahead from the insurer. My car was fully repaired and like brand new within a week. What's more it was absolutely gleaming and had a full vallet. Having an accident can be an awful experience, I am so greatful Andrew and his team where there to help! I cannot recommend this garage enough. Nothing is too much trouble! 10/10 from me. First class service!!!	July 05, 2018
	I’ve recently moved into the area and needed a local garage to put my car through an MOT and service. After recommendations I went here and I was not disappointed. The friendly owner and lady in the office couldn’t of made it easier. The work was very clearly explained and I also got a phone call to advice of some parts that were required during the service. They offered a lift back home, to drop the car off or pick up and also the choice of a courtesy car. I’m really happy with the service I received and will be back. Thank you!	May 14, 2018
	Yewbarrow Garage responded very quickly to our request whilst we were on holiday. They repaired the car in record time, looked at all the issues surrounding the repair and dealt with them. 	Having recently moved into the area l needed to get some work done, following advisory notes from a service carried out earlier in the year in the north west of Scotland. Andrew and his team examined the car, especially the parts highlighted from the earlier service, and advised me what was (and what was not) required. What was impressive was that they took the time to show me the parts under review (the gaiters and tyres) and explained carefully what they were looking for in terms of wear and tear. They then completed the parts of the job that were needed, found a nail in one of the tyres and fixed it, checked oil etc. and even cleaned the car. I really appreciate the care and attention they took, their explanations of possible faults, and the fact that they did not carry out unnecessary work.	August 23, 2017

	Can't rate Yewbarrow highly enough. On holiday in Grange-over-Sands our car developed a steering fault. Yewbarrow agreed to look at it at short notice, ordered the needed parts and had us back on the road within 48 hours. I was expecting a large bill, but it was very reasonable. I hope we don't have to, but wouldn't hesitate to use them again.	June 25, 2017
